Automotive Analog Products

Designers of electronic control modules within the automobile are being challenged to deliver increased performance in a variety of systems, including powertrain, chassis, comfort, driver information, entertainment, and safety. Microchip Technology's broad portfolio of low-power analog products enables the development of cost-effective solutions that address these challenges and others facing the system designer. As one of the first companies to apply Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) technology to the development process for analog products, Microchip has utilized its NVM experience to deliver innovative analog solutions with unchallenged electrical characteristics.

MCP6H01, MCP6H02, & MCP6H04 Op Amps

Microchip Technology MCP6H01, MCP6H02, and MCP6H04 1.2MHz 16V Operational Amplifiers (Op Amps) offer a wide supply voltage range of 3.5V to 16V and rail-to-rail output operation. These devices are unity gain stable and have a gain bandwidth product of 1.2MHz (typical). The MCP6H01, MCP6H02, and MCP6H04 Op Amps operate with a single-supply voltage as high as 16V, while only drawing 135µA/amplifier (typical) of quiescent current. These devices are offered in single (MCP6H01), dual (MCP6H02), and quad (MCP6H04) configurations. All devices are fully specified in extended temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.

MCP6xx Op Amps

The Microchip Technology MCP62x and MCP65x are the first op amps to include mCal, an on-chip calibration circuit that calibrates offset voltage at power-up using an internal power on-reset detector or based upon the state of an external pin. The result is that the MCP62x and MCP65x have a low initial voltage offset and a means to minimize drift over time and temperature for applications involving instrumentation and sensor conditioning. These high-bandwidth, low-power Microchip Technology MCP62x / MCP65x op amps provide low bias and quiescent currents, high output drive capability, and a rail-to-rail output for better performance across the entire operating-voltage range. These Microchip Technology op amps feature a high output-drive current that enables them to drive heavy loads in a wide variety of applications.
